About the mom lists

The Mom Lists was started in 2017 while pregnant with my first son. It was created out of the need to find a one-stop trusted spot for all the best of the best for mom and babe. I wanted it to be curated in a beautiful yet attainable way, from one real mom to the next with a Canadian focus. It then turned into a shop where I was able to sell book inspired curated gifts (you can buy them here). Since then a lot has changed - two kids, a pandemic (and obviously so much more)!

As I’ve changed, so has the focus of The Mom Lists. The Mom Lists has become a design centered lifestyle brand featuring makers, creatives, and companies who are pushing boundaries and doing awesome things.

The Mom Lists has always been a space for inspiration and sharing. Lists of my faves that have been shifting as I grow, as my boys grow… I will continue to share what I love … like I love patterns and fashion, illustrations and children books … I love small women run shops creating awesome products… overall I love things with great vibes. (You should subscribe to our monthly LOVE LIST). I will also share some more of my own personal design projects that I am working on. Did you know I am a stylist and designer?

I love having you here to follow along!

WHO WE ARE:

Meet Rayna. Here are six fun things about her:

  1. She is the proud #boymom to Benson Lief and Oliver Moss.

  2. She is the oldest of 5 girls (so she always was a mini mama).

  3. She has lived in Toronto, Canada all of her life except for one year (the best year) when she lived in Australia and met her Dutch husband.

  4. Other than a mom of two (isn’t that a full time job?), she is a freelance prop stylist, creative director and pattern designer. You can see her work if you flip through an issue of Chatelaine Magazine or here.

  5. She used to be a kindergarten teacher and her favourite part was arts and crafts and story time (you’ll see some of her favourite books in the Book Club posts).

  6. She and her husband are currently (slowly) renovating Stormy, their 1975 vintage Airstream.
